The Moments That Quietly Built Who You Are - Ep. 45

This week I'm thinking about the memories that quietly shape who we become. The ones that keep resurfacing throughout our lives, for seemingly no reason. I share two of mine: a childhood summer memory that gave me an early, lasting sense of body confidence, and a moment that left me with a quieter message about curiosity and shame. I talk about why I think it's worth going back to our hardest memories on purpose, not to dwell, but to actually learn from them, and how the things we were curious about as kids so often point toward exactly who we grow up to become or what we should follow.

Key Themes:

  • The small, random memories that keep resurfacing, and what they might be telling us

  • Some of my memories and the lasting message

  • How childhood curiosity can point toward the work and passions we grow into

  • Using memory as a tool for guidance, validation, or simply reflection

  • Inner child work as a way to reconnect with what once made you happy
